Built after a plague at the end of the 15^th century right next to the ancient hospital and later restored in 1600, the Church of San Sebastiano houses the Perugino fresco dedicated to the martyrdom of the saint, signed and dated. The painting, made in 1505, shows all the Perugino characteristics: graceful and elegant traits enclosed in a very delicate landscape directly inspired by Lake Trasimeno, which one can enjoy from outside the church itself. Inside the Church is also another masterpiece: the “Madonna con gli Angeli Musicanti”, originally painted on one of the ancient church of Sant’Agostino’s walls, the Tulle Museum of today. The fresco, sadly missing the signature, was just recently attributed to Raffaello thanks to some extensive researches.
