Inagurated on October 21, 1871, the “Giuseppe Mengoni” Theater of Magione, named after the man who built it, represents one of the most important cultural sites in all Trasimeno. Following the advent of movie theaters and the important structural alterations of the original building in the 19^th century, its recovery started only during the 90s and a second inauguration was made on November 9, 1996. Since then, the “Giuseppe Mengoni” Theater hosted many events and prose seasons by the Teatro Stabile of Umbria.
